  • Why do people feel the need to talk and make noise?
  • I understand wanting to talk, though I never feel it anywhere near as much as most. But what is it that drives people to make noise? Whistling, humming, tapping a finger or a foot, et cetera...
  • I was just enjoying my breakfast in the cafe where I work, whole place is empty except for the cashier. This guy comes in and gets some food and then proceeds to sit a table away from me with literally everywhere else to sit.
  • The whole time he's making some sort of noise whether it's a sigh, a whistle, saying something under his breath (heard him say "oh man" for no apparent reason).
  • I just don't get it. I find it quite annoying, but otherwise I'm still just curious as to the why of it. I'm not expecting the reason(s) to make sense necessarily, but its just baffling to me.
